About Us

TRUMAN, Peter D., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in the City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., January 13, 1935. Peter lost both of his parents by the age of 15. A little church lady named Elizabeth Hackett took him in and gave him a chance to be something great in life. "Some times you just need someone to believe in you and give you a chance." That's the motto we live by at Truman Money!

Peter went on to receive his B.B.A., Florida State Christian College; attended, New York State University; officer, Philadelphia Police Department (1959-1967); constable, 3rd Ward, City of Philadelphia (1968); assistant to the chief clerk, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1968-1971); president, 3rd Ward Committeeman Association (1970-1982); director, Pennsylvania Bureau of General Services (1971-1972); regional director, Pennsylvania Department of Commerce (1972-1973); administrative assistant, Sheriff of Philadelphia (1973-1975); deputy chief clerk, Philadelphia Traffic Court (1979-1982); leader, 3rd Ward Committee (1982). He was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1983, 1985 and 1987 terms; appointed, Select Committee to Investigate the Commonwealth's Response to Medicaid Fraud (1986); Elected Clerk of Quarter Sessions, city of Philadelphia (1988-1992); founder, Dan-Silo Consultants; He helped build his church by providing the money needed. He gave so much that once the church finished being built they gave him money back. He gave countless micro-loans out to individuals in need in the community. Most of all he provided for his family and gave them an excellent life. That's what we want for you and your family here at Truman Money.

In Peter's final days he asked his son Bobby to carry on his legacy. Truman Money will help do just that and help you leave a tremendous legacy behind for your family as we give you the resources and tools you need to reach all of your goals.
